Bright gold in the glass, this Riesling opens with lifted notes of sweet honeysuckle and crisp apple. The palate is rich and nicely textured, bringing forward layered flavors of golden pear, ripe tangerine, and a touch of beeswax. Driven by vibrant acidity and subtle minerality, it concludes on a long, clean finish that invites another sip. Pair with an aged Gouda or Gruyère, Thai green curry, or seared scallops.
The grapes for this Lake Chelan Riesling were picked in mid-October after a warm growing season. A field blend was made consisting of about 18% Gewürztraminer from the estate vineyard. They were hand harvested and sorted in the field, before being gently whole-cluster pressed on the same day. The juice was then cold-settled and racked into a sandstone jarre to undergo native fermentation. After fermentation, the wine was aged sur lie for 8 months. The wine was cold and heat stabilized, before being cross-flow filtered and bottled in April 2026.
