The grapes hail from Farmer Jon's vineyard on the south shore of Lake Chelan. This east facing vineyard has produced world-class apples and cherries for decades but we have converted some of this acreage to wine grapes since 2015. The aspect of the vineyard helps provide vibrancy to these wines due to the cooler morning sun and softer afternoon heat. The wines from here have great natural acidity and 'sense of place". This is a really special site for wine grapes.
